ETHOS GALLERY – WHERE DREAMS DO COME TRUE.
Shannon Cornish’s long held dream to have a working studio and gallery space to create and exhibit her handmade jewellery will soon be realised with the opening of her new business, Ethos Gallery, Main Street, Woodside, on July 30, 2010. Formerly an historic stone cottage, Shannon has transformed the building into a new home for designing, creating and displaying her beautiful handmade jewellery.
Shannon’s gallery also has an Artist in residence, painter Cathryn Marinos, who will have her original art works and high quality art prints and cards available for sale.
Two more rooms within Ethos Gallery will be devoted to art and giftware by talented Australian artists and designers – fulfilling Shannon’s dream of a gallery focusing on Australian made and fair trade products of exceptional quality and design.
‘Dream a Little Dream’ is Ethos Gallery’s first SALA event, with an open studio displaying works by Shannon, Cathryn and textile artist, Tara Seekamp.
Ethos Gallery’s opening hours are from 10 to 5 daily. Shannon will be at the Gallery on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Cathryn will be in the Gallery on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
